“ We were a group of 8 and really enjoyed our lunch. We liked the large tables and service was quick and friendly. They do have auto gratuity for large group but the service was present so didn't mind that. We got the lumpiang Shanghai, Pancit Canton, pork sissig, spaghetti, pork BBQ skewers, and Pancit palabok. Everything was really good but the stand out was definitely the skewers. They were fantastic! I really enjoyed the lumpiang as well but didn't personally like the sauce that came with it. For dessert we tried the halo halo after being recommended by friends and it was pretty good but would be best in the summer for sure. It wasn't overly sweet so a good option for after a large meal like this. This was only my second Filipino restaurant and I enjoyed this meal much better so would recommend. ”

“ I really enjoyed my time at Max’s. The food was authentic and very good. It’s hard to choose a favourite dish from what we ordered. The service was very fast and friendly even though there was an event going on in the back. We even came in an hour before close which made me feel bad, but the wait staff was still very happy to see us eat. ”
